Interview
HARALD BUTTER, MANAGER, SENIOR MANAGER
IN SYNGROUP SPEED INTERVIEW
I wish from Syngroup

… that we spend a couple more years together.

To be a consultant means

… lots of variety, new challenges and exciting topics to work on.

A good consultant is characterised above all by

… to listen to someone carefully before giving them clever tips.

A good client is destinguished above all by

… that they work (pro-)actively on joint projects, even if some of these projects and the associated changes may not always be in their comfort zone.

For me, the best thing about the consulting job is

variety – I get bored very quickly.

My greatest strengths is

… my technical and analytical understanding.

My colleagues appriciate me most of all

… my pragmatism and sense of humor.

The most exciting thing about international projects is

… working together to find solutions, taking into account many different perspectives and sensitivities.

The biggest challenge for me as a consultant in the last years was

… Corona and a few associated projects.

Positive changes for me during the pandemic

… that a professional problem that had been bothering me for a while could be solved and that I was able to develop very well in my second appointment (more of a hobby).

I wish for Syngroup:

… that we continue to be valued and in demand by our clients as top industry consultants.

What I really want to get off my chest:

… actually nothing.
